Ethereal Spring Bloom
Shooting close-ups or flowers really never appealed much to me as a portrait and wedding photographer, other than the bride's bouquet. While doing an Easter egg hunt with my kids in the middle of the bright afternoon, this flower simply caught my attention. I stopped, looked it over and choose one that had the sun directly on it with little shadow. This is the resulting split-toned black and white image with a somewhat ethereal feel.
