An Autumn Epilogue

As autumn closes, I find myself looking down a lot more lately at the leaves and colors as they subtlety infused together at my feet. I remember as a child kicking up leaves as I walked to the barn to do my chores never really stopping to look down at the beauty at my feet. I was too busy looking up at the changing colors on the trees and the fallen leaves only meant work. Today some years later, I work to take more time to look at life from more than one perspective, in this case down.
