Looking for a new place to photograph I came across a park in Greene County I had heard of before, but never photographed in, called Oakes Quarry Park. An old limestone quarry was donated to the City of Fairborn in 2003. There are lots of opportunities to make intimate landscape images in this location.

This round stone was intriguing to me as I walked up on it laying in the surrounding parched earth. This to me was best illustrated as a black and white image. I did find it interesting though as I was working on this making a more dreamy color version as well.
