The Great Miami River is an interesting river going through downtown Dayton. Headed there one day to work on some abstract images of water moving and the patterns that it creates going over the various types of debris in the river. These two images while very similar, are different and to me have a calming effect, even though the water is rushing by. Taking the time to watch and observe without being rushed made for a nice relaxing afternoon.
