Plunge Pool

Late one November afternoon while visiting Hocking Hills I came across this plunge pool at the base of Ash Cave. Becoming interested with the rocks and the water coming from 90 feet or so above them, this had the making of a great spot for a long exposure. The rocks and their various tones glisten to life from the falling water and the low angle of the sunlight reaching the base of the cave. Yet other items within the water are clearly visible around the edges from where the water is falling, giving an almost totally undisturbed view. My interest lies in the various shapes that the rock groupings form while leading the eye counterclockwise around the frame enjoying the details and differences in each rock.
