Contained Turbulence

Following a heavy rain there was an abundance of water going through Huffman Dam, one of five “dry dams” on various tributaries to control flooding of the Great Miami River.  The water rushing through the dam made an extremely interesting pattern once slowed down using a long exposure to accentuate it.  On this day the potent force of this turbulent water has been contained by the dam, but the sound that was created while making this image was enormous.
